Recently designated Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu has not looked for time to meet Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, a counselor of the CM said Tuesday, dismissing reports proposing the previous cricketer had looked for an arrangement.
There is no adjustment of the position that Singh won’t meet Sidhu till he openly apologizes for his “unfavorable” tweets against him, boss clergyman’s media counselor Raveen Thukral said, showing the stewing pressure between the two chiefs is a long way from being done.
“Reports of @sherryontop (Sidhu) looking for time to meet @capt_amarinder are absolutely bogus. No time has been looked for at all. No adjustment of position… CM will not meet #NavjotSinghSidhu till he freely apologizes for his by and by slanderous web-based media assaults against him,” Thukral tweeted.
Sidhu, who had been in constant disagreement with the CM over different issues, was designated the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee boss regardless of solid resistance from the CM.
Singh was figured out how to have revealed to AICC general secretary Harish Rawat last week that he won’t meet the cricketer-turned-government official until he openly tenders a conciliatory sentiment for his “defamatory” tweets against him.

Prior, senior Congress pioneer and bureau serve Brahm Mahindra had precluded any close to home gathering with Sidhu till he settle his issues with Chief Minister Singh.
The assertion goes ahead a day Sidhu went to Amritsar where he got an awakening welcome from his allies and gathering laborers.
In an explanation gave, Mahindra said the choice to choose Sidhu had been taken by the central leadership and is gladly received.
“Nonetheless, I won’t meet him (Sidhu) till he meets the Chief Minister and resolves his issues with him”, Mahindra said.
He said Singh is the head of the Congress assembly gathering and he (Mahindra) is compelled by a solemn obligation to follow him.
Prior to going to Amritsar, Sidhu had been approaching clergymen and lawmakers in Chandigarh to activate support in the previous few days.
Sidhu had effectively met a few clergymen and MLAs.
