Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers have repudiated public guarantees on rights, including by requesting ladies to remain at home, obstructing adolescent young ladies from school and holding door to door looks for previous adversaries, a United Nations official said on Monday.
High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet said Afghanistan was in a “new and risky stage” since the assailant Islamist bunch held onto power last month, with numerous ladies and individuals from ethnic and strict networks profoundly stressed.

“In logical inconsistency to confirmations that the Taliban would maintain ladies’ privileges, in the course of recent weeks, ladies have rather been dynamically barred from the open arena,” she told the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Bachelet communicated alarm at the arrangement of the Taliban government, taking note of the shortfall of ladies and its strength by ethnic Pashtun.
In certain spots, young ladies more than 12 were banned from school while ladies were advised to remain at home, she said, in returns to the Taliban’s harsh guideline.
