PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday requested prompt arrival of Kashmiri understudies captured from a school in Agra for purportedly posting a WhatsApp status lauding Pakistan players after triumph against India in a T20 World Cup cricket match.

The understudies of Raja Balwant Singh Management Technical Campus in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra were captured on Wednesday evening following a FIR held up against them at the Jagdishpura police headquarters, a police official had said.

“Crackdown on Kashmiri understudies both inside J&K and outside is inexcusable. Circumstance in J&K following two years of concealment should’ve been a shocker for GOI and lead to course amendment.
