Congress pioneer Priyanka Gandhi communicated fortitude with Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) and anganwadi laborers and declared that they will be given an honorarium of ₹10,000 each month if the party comes to drive in Uttar Pradesh.
“The Congress party is focused on the privileges of honorarium of ASHA sisters and their regard and if the public authority is shaped, ASHA sisters and Anganwadi laborers will be given an honorarium of ₹10,000 each month,” Priyanka Gandhi tweeted on Wednesday.
Gandhi, the Congress general secretary, shared a video of ASHA laborers being supposedly “attacked” by police at Shahjahanpur, where they had gone to meet with boss priest Yogi Adityanath and present a rundown of requests. Hindustan Times couldn’t autonomously confirm the substance of the video.
“Each attack on the ASHA sisters by the UP government is an affront to the work done by them. My ASHA sisters have given their administrations constantly in Covid times and on different events. Honorarium is their right. It is the obligation of the public authority to pay attention to them,” she tweeted in help.
