Congress leader Alka Lamba appears before police in Rupnagar, Punjab congress leaders protest

Congress pioneer Alka Lamba, gathered over an instance of “incendiary explanations” against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, showed up before the police here on Wednesday as party laborers held a dissent outside the SSP office over the matter.

The argument was held up against previous AAP pioneer Kumar Vishwas in Rupnagar town’s Sadar police headquarters on April 12.

In front of the Assembly surveys, Vishwas had blamed Kejriwal for supporting separatists. Lamba has been blamed for support the comments made by Vishwas.

Driven by the Congress’ state unit boss Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, the party laborers arranged the dissent outside the workplace of Rupnagar senior administrator of police (SSP) and raised mottos against the Bhagwant Mann government.

Other than Warring, senior party pioneers, including Punjab Congress Legislature party pioneer Partap Singh Bajwa, MLAs Sukhjinder Randhawa, Raj Kumar Chabbewal, previous pastors Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Balbir Sidhu, Gurkirat Kotli and Punjab Youth Congress boss Brinder Dhillon went with Lamba when she arrived at Rupnagar to show up before the police.

Tending to the dissenters, Warring pummeled the AAP government in Punjab, blaming it for “abusing” the police for political quarrel.

He said the whole state administration of the party came to Rupnagar on the side of Lamba. “We won’t endure any unfairness against our sister (Lamba),” Warring said.

Previous Punjab Congress boss Navjot Singh Sidhu arrived at Rupnagar, independently, on the side of Lamba.

“You (AAP) are attempting to frighten Alka Lamba. Individuals of Punjab have generally remained by their girls and sisters. We as a whole backup her,” he told columnists outside the Rupnagar SSP office

The previous cricketer passed on the spot in the wake of conversing with journalists.

Lamba, while conversing with the correspondents, pummeled the Mann-drove government for sending police to her home to call her. She blamed the AAP government for “abusing” the police against its political opponents.

A weighty police force was conveyed external the Rupnagar SSP office.

The Punjab police on had on April 20 visited the homes of Vishwas and Lamba regarding a case enlisted over “incendiary explanations” against Kejriwal.
