Shiv Sena pioneer Eknath Shinde on Friday said his partners in the Assembly as well as Maharashtra is glad that “Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sainik has turned into the main clergyman”.
He expressed gratitude toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah among others for resting trust in him.
Upheld by the BJP, Shinde on Thursday made vow as boss clergyman of Maharashtra fully supported by a breakaway group of Shiv Sena MLAs and Independents.
In the wake of making the vow in Mumbai, Shinde got back to Goa at 12 PM to meet his partners who had upheld him in opposing Uddhav Thackeray.
Interfacing with columnists at the Goa Airport, he said Maharashtra could see this day as a result of his 50 MLAs.
“My partners and whole Maharashtra is glad that Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sainik has turned into the central clergyman of the state,” Shinde remarked.
The main clergyman said his administration would do the works that are normal from them by individuals of Maharashtra.
Shinde said his administration would attempt to convey equity to each part of society. “We will likewise take ahead the vision of Balasaheb Thackeray.”
