Deepa Shahi, who helps produce the TV show Anupamaa and is the mother of director and producer Rajan Shahi, was recently honored at the Indian Television Wonder Women Awards. She got a prize for making India’s very popular TV show. Rajan Shahi is happy to hear that people all over the country are enjoying Anupamaa, a show produced by him and his mother, Deepa Shahi. This is our first performance together, and when I stood on the stage with my mom, I felt really proud and thankful that we could do this together. I am what I am today because of my mother. She really enjoys creating great television programs.
