Instead of being happy, I am feeling confused because something that has been a big part of my life for a whole year is now finished,” she expressed.
Twinkle discussed how she handled living in a different city and how hard it was to move her daughter to another country.
Younger students’ parents handle the organization and coordination of logistics. For people like me, we are the ones who plan and arrange things. I applied to five colleges. One of them didn’t accept me, but luckily, I got into my top preference. After that, I had to do some difficult tasks. I had to convince my daughter to not only change schools but also move to a different country. I also had to figure out a way to work from home while also traveling back and forth. In addition, I had to work on my book, find a place to live, find doctors, plumbers, and use delivery apps. Lastly, I needed to make new friends in the new city. Sometimes it has become too much to handle. The biggest thing I learned this year is that age doesn’t mean we become less of who we are. “It’s like a multiplier if we decide to continue growing in various ways, not only in one direction,” she said.
