Team Adhura fights against bullying

Prime Video has released its first Hindi horror series called Adhura. The show is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani from Emmay Entertainment. Made and guided by Gauravv K. Chawla and Ananya Banerjee’s series explores horror and the supernatural. It also talks about the problems of bullying.
To help kids and young adults facing bullying, the makers of Adhura are teaming up with Sangath, a non-profit organization. They want to raise awareness and offer assistance to those affected by bullying.
Ananya says that we feel honored that people who have seen the show have liked how we talked about things like bullying and homophobia. I strongly believe that by sharing stories, people can start important talks and make a difference. Every child should be able to grow up in a world where people are kind to each other. We want to give kids the power to feel safe, heard, and supported in their surroundings.
Gauravv, a filmmaker, enjoys telling stories that talk about problems in society. He likes to put these stories together in a way that sends a message, which is not common in horror movies. We wanted to combine these various aspects with Adhura. In the story, we talked about an important subject called bullying using the two characters, Vedant and Ninad. Bullying is usually thought of as something that happens when you’re growing up, but it can really hurt a lot of people. We are happy to have worked with Sangath, who are experts in helping children grow and in mental health. We want to make more people aware of the amazing work they have been doing in dealing with this issue.
