Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi is probably going to visit Jammu and Kashmir on August 9, a gathering functionary said on Tuesday.

During a casual conversation with the Opposition chiefs at a morning meal meeting in Constitution Club, Gandhi advised some of them that he will visit the Union domain soon, a senior non-Congress pioneer who was finding a spot at a similar table with the previous Congress boss said, asking not to be named.

During his visit, Gandhi is probably going to meet a couple of Congress pioneers and may remain in the UT just two or three days.

Gandhi additionally told the Opposition chiefs that he intended to visit Kerala, his discretionary state, however needed to drop it because of the rainstorm meeting of Parliament.
