Potholes caused 3,564 accidents in India in 2020: Govt in Rajya Sabha.

The public authority on Tuesday said in Rajya Sabha that 3,564 mishaps occurred in India because of potholes in 2020 contrasted with 4,775 and 4,869 of every 2019 and 2018.

The street traffic development was confined generally because of the Covid-19 lockdown in the country in 2020.

The public authority gave the data because of Trinamool Congress administrator Derek O’Brien’s inquiry on the quantity of street mishaps because of “street designing issues” and drives for street security and the assets allotted for it.

“No different information/record is kept up with for a mishap happening because of street designing (issues),” Union vehicle serve Nitin Gadkari said.
