Somewhere around 25 people were killed and in excess of 50 injured when shooters assaulted Afghanistan’s greatest military emergency clinic after two substantial blasts at the site in focal Kabul, authorities said.
The blasts hit the passageway of the 400-bed Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan emergency clinic and were followed with an attack by a gathering of Islamic State shooters, every one of whom were killed inside 15 minutes, Taliban representative Zabihullah Mujahid said.

He said Taliban extraordinary powers dropped by helicopter had kept the assailants from entering the medical clinic itself, with all killed at the passage or in the yard. There was no prompt case of liability, yet the activity was normal of the mind boggling assaults mounted by IS. — Reuters
