Aparna Nair, an actor in Malayalam cine-serials, was discovered hanging at her home, according to the police.
The police said that a 33-year-old actor was found hanging in her room at her house near Karamana on Thursday night. She has been in a few movies and many TV shows.
Aparna was living with her husband and kids, according to the police.
The incident happened at about 7:30pm on Thursday.
The police were told by the hospital that she was admitted after being found hanging.
“We got the information from the hospital and we have filed a case for a death that was not natural,” a police officer informed PTI.
Her husband and two children are still alive.
