Srinagar: A unidentified assailant was killed in an experience with security powers in Bandipora area of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, police said.

Security powers dispatched a cordon and search activity in Chandaji space of Bandipora in north Kashmir after inputs were gotten about the presence of assailants there, a police official said.

He said the hunt activity transformed into an experience after the aggressors started shooting at the powers, who fought back.

In the trading of fire, an assailant was killed, the authority said.

The character and gathering connection of the killed assailant is being found out, he said, adding the activity is as yet in progress.
